1. Noah Shelby Noah Shelby 6'2" | PG Greenhill | 2022 State #139 Nation TX – Greenhill – 31.3 PPG
This a kid that you definitely don’t want to mess with as he will destroy you and your team. The 6’2 guard from McKinney got his season cut off this year due to the SPC not allowing for the teams to play more than a small number of games. However, Noah was still able to show out and show that he is number 1 in the DFW area in PPG. The guard has offers from top schools such as Baylor, Kansas, Memphis, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Virginia, Stanford, and many others. Noah is currently a junior, and he has a whole summer to play with his Drive Nation team if he decides to stick with them again this summer.
2. Rytis Petraitis Rytis Petraitis 6'6" | SG Oak Ridge | 2021 State TX – Arlington Oakridge – 27.1 PPG
The 6’6 Air Force commit from Arlington is a kid that performed extremely well in his senior year. Rytis was also able to hit the crazy amount of 2,000 points in his high school career even though he also had a shortened SPC season. On January 4th, he put up 49 points shooting 44% from the field. In a game about a month earlier, Rytis was able to shoot 71 % from the field as he put up 37 points. So although this star didn’t have a full season, he showed out in the little time he could.
3. Noah McDavid Noah McDavid 6'5" | SG Lake Highlands | 2021 State TX – Lake Highlands – 24.5 PPG
Noah is a lengthy 6’6 scorer that can shoot off the dribble as well as get to the bucket. Currently the forward has three offers from Navy, Army, and Bucknell. He was able to lead his team to a 19-8 season while finishing 3rd in district. Noah is a strong defender as well with his ability to get in the passing lanes and create fastbreaks. An article that recently came out on Prep Hoops also ranked Noah as a Top 25 DFW Prospect. He is a strong player that will look to make his college decision soon.
4. Chandler Dickinson Chandler Dickinson 6'6" | PF Rockwall-Heath | 2021 State TX – Rockwall-Heath – 24.4 PPG
The Southeastern Oklahoma State commit is a big man who can shoot lights out. Chandler can go underneath the basket and body defenders, or he can come take the ball up the court and nail a three. Chandler’s ability to be so versatile allowed him to score a great number of double-doubles this year. He also had 7 games this year where he scored over 30 points, and he had his two highest-scoring games back-to-back where he was able to put up 36 and 39 points. Chandler is not playing in a lower division either. In fact, he’s playing a tough 6A district, and he was still able to put up crazy numbers. Southeastern Oklahoma State is getting a great player.
5. Jordan Roberts Jordan Roberts 6'2" | SG South Grand Prairie | 2021 State TX – South Grand Prairie – 23.9 PPG
If you want to talk about a leader of a team, Jordan is the name you want to bring up. His South Grand Prairie team is no joke as they went undefeated in the regular season, but in the first round of playoffs, they had to play a tough Richardson team. Throughout the year Jordan was able to score in clutch wins against teams like McKinney High School. Jordan is a great shooter from three, but he is also able to steal the ball and create fastbreaks for his team. The 6’3 shooting guard from South Grand Prairie played on an elite team this year, and although he has no offers listed on his Twitter right now, I know some may come in after the season ends.
