We move over to the Sophs.
We are up to 142 players from 109 last year and since I added over 30 new players, many players moved down not up.
So the stock risers are limited because of this.
Here are 7 players whose stock rose up: Many are undersized guards who are proving their worth despite their size.
Isaiah Kai Isaiah Kai 6'2" | PG Campo Verde | 2023 State AZ Campo Verde
-The biggest riser in the class is the pure PG for the Coyotes. He sees plays developing quickly and can also score it from all levels.
Bryce Ford Bryce Ford 6'2" | CG Pinnacle | 2023 State AZ Pinnacle
-One the better shooters in the class keeps improving his feel for the game as well. He makes good reads and the lefty has a clip from deep.
Dalton Graham Dalton Graham 6'7" | SF Sunrise Mountain | 2023 State AZ Sunrise Mountain
-A unique forward has grown a few inches and plays the point forward role to the T. He can rebound then push the ball and make a play for himself or others.
Conner Ivy Conner Ivy 6'5" | SF Brophy Prep | 2023 State AZ Brophy Prep
-A long wing forward shows a lot of upside. He moves well around the court and he can score it from inside and out. He could make a leap up next year off the bench on varsity.
Cohen J Gonzales Cohen J Gonzales 5'8" | PG Mesquite | 2023 State AZ Mesquite
-One of the undersized guards had a big year. He shoots the cover off the ball and can get hot quickly. He has a good feel for the game and a nice pull-up.
Davion Butler Davion Butler 5'10" | PG AZ Compass Prep | 2023 State AZ McClintock
-Butler made a huge difference for the Chargers. He allowed everyone to go to their natural positions and he shot the ball well plus became the team leader instantly with his IQ.
Anthony-Lamar Wilcox Anthony-Lamar Wilcox 5'8" | PG Skyline Prep | 2024 AZ Maricopa (Pictured)
-Another undersized guard had some monster games for the 6A school. He has no fear and comes with volleyball line range. He has a quick trigger, speed and confidence. He is also a pest on the ball defensively.
