Kevin Miller Kevin Miller 5'10" | PG Victory Rock | 2021 State FL – Victory Rock: Whenever he’s on the floor, you MUST keep your eye on him. One of the best guards in the SIAA, the senior put up 29 points in the Championship win to add to his 31-point night on Saturday. He used his speed to his advantage, carving through the defense on the fast-break & in the half-court. Miller can hit the trey-ball and the floater through the lane while proving that he can be an assist man, as well. He was able to fit the pass through some windows in the painted area. On defense, he notched a couple of steals leading to fast-break points.
Atrial Washington Atrial Washington 6'9" | PF The Rock | 2021 State FL – The Rock: The 6’8” Eckerd College-Commit started off strong in the first half, getting to the rack & stayed active around the paint. The turnaround jumper was falling, as well. He did a solid job of fighting through contact and finishing and-one situations. “Trell” scored 13 of his 22 points in the second half, including going 5-of-6 from the free-throw line. In his final game as a Lion, Trell didn’t disappoint.
Terrance Ford – Victory Rock: Ford kept his foot on the gas all game long. The six-foot junior guard finished with 22 points on the night, doing it by way of four treys, a couple of floaters, and fast-break layups. Ford did great job setting up his teammates for easy looks at the basket, tallying seven assists on the night. He also proved to be a solid on-ball defender, forcing turnovers and racking up good steals. Look for Ford to be a force next season at Victory Rock.
Kyle Duke Kyle Duke 6'3" | CG The Rock | 2021 State FL – The Rock: To this day, I’ll maintain that when it comes to finishing at the rim with contact, Duke is the best guard I’ve seen in-person execute this. He has a way of getting great hangtime after leaping for the lay, as well as altering his body in the air to get a solid chance at scoring. Aside from at the rim, Duke can hit the floater coming through the lane, as well as get his teammates involved by finding them for easy assists. The senior finished with 15 points in his final stint as a Lion.
Jamine Charles Jamine Charles 6'11" | C Victory Rock | 2021 State FL – Victory Rock: The 6’-11” junior is going to be a true problem for teams, next season. On Sunday, Charles made his living in the painted area, hitting short jump-hooks and cleaning up missed jumpers for putbacks. Defenders had a hard time fronting him once he established a position near the paint. Too wide, too athletic. He finished with 15 points including going 3-of-3 from the line.
Dallas Jones Dallas Jones 6'4" | CG The Rock School | 2023 State FL – The Rock: This high-intensity sophomore does not take a play-off. The 6’-3” wingman shot the three well and was all over the floor to defend whomever necessary. His head stays on a swivel, which allowed him to sprint the floor and steal a long pass when they tried to catch The Rock off guard. Martin’s a solid ball-handler for his age and has a quick first step from the top of the key which allows him to get to the rim easier than others.
