Senior class recruiting update

With the conclusion of the high school basketball season and most colleges are done playing, we’ve seen an uptick in commitments from high school seniors. There’s nothing better than seeing a kid take advantage of all the hard work he’s done both on the floor and in the classroom. With that being said, we still have five players left in the top 30 uncommitted. Tasos Cook Tasos Cook 6'2" | SG Westerville Central | 2021 State OH and Quincy Clark Quincy Clark 6'3" | PG Westerville Central | 2021 State OH have both received a couple offers, riding impressive performances throughout a state championship run.

A hand-full of players throughout the top 50 are still uncommitted as well. It seems like some Division II programs took a while to start making offers, as some players are just getting their first offers now. I feel that guards like Jonah Waag Jonah Waag 6'2" | SG Mentor | 2021 State OH , Ramelle Arnold Ramelle Arnold 6'0" | PG Warrensville Heights | 2021 State OH , Jamarr Talbert Jamarr Talbert 6'3" | PG Richmond Heights | 2021 State OH and CamRon McKenzie CamRon McKenzie 6'3" | SG Hughes | 2021 State OH might be flying under the radar.

Alderson Broaddus made a splash with Sirr Hughes Sirr Hughes 5'10" | PG Lutheran East | 2021 State OH and Jalen Knott Jalen Knott 6'1" | SG Lutheran East | 2021 State OH from state champion Lutheran East. Jared Lary Jared Lary 6'5" | SF Lutheran East | 2021 State OH and Collin Albert Collin Albert 5'10" | PG Lutheran East | 2021 State OH (both Falcons teammates) both have offers posted but are uncommitted.

Ayden Schneider Ayden Schneider 6'5" | PF La Salle | 2021 State OH also decided to commit to Thomas Moore very recently. Ashton Price Ashton Price 6'1" | PG Bay | 2021 State OH was one of the more coveted point guards at the Division III level, I think he’ll be a starter for Baldwin Wallace before his career is over. Both Owen Nichols Owen Nichols 6'7" | PF Ottawa-Glandorf | 2021 State OH and Brennen Blevins Brennen Blevins 5'11" | SG Ottawa-Glandorf | 2021 State OH impressed against Lutheran East, I’ll be intrigued to see where that duo ends up. Jayden Priddy Powell Jayden Priddy Powell 5'11" | PG Botkins | 2021 State OH and Steven Key Steven Key 5'11" | PG Mentor | 2021 State OH each had a nice state tournaments, they’ve turned that into some new offers. Grant Pahl Grant Pahl 6'2" | SG Southview | 2021 State OH and Tayt Birnesser Tayt Birnesser 6'2" | SG Columbus Grove | 2021 State OH are two of the better available NW Ohio SG’s, both of them are recently off the board.
