There are several different lists and All-State teams published by a variety of different sources. So, I decided to put together an All-Defense team for the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Here are my selections:

Guard

Cason Wallace Cason Wallace 6'4" | CG Richardson | 2022 State #62 Nation TX | 2022 | 6’4’’ Combo Guard | Richardson HS - Wallace flew up the 2022 rankings due in large part to his defensive ability, and while his offensive production was fantastic during his junior campaign, his defense did not suffer as a result. He was locked in and ready to guard the opponents’ best player every night. He defends with urgency and can matchup with ones, twos, and threes without an issue.

Guard

Kyle Moran | 2022 | 6’0’’ Shooting Guard | Lake Highlands HS - Defense is all about hustle, and that part of Moran’s game is never in question. He plays with intensity whenever he is on the floor, using his high motor to be a pest on D. The junior guard was willing to do whatever
