Everyone one loves a good underdog, especially in the month of March, and Idaho is home to a long list of underrated athletes. Our lovely state never quite seems to get the love and respect it deserves when it comes to basketball, yet we keep plugging along and show how great our basketball is each and every year. As with any other season, a lot of players seemingly came out of the woodwork and showed that they could play at a high level after having flown under the radar in past seasons. Kolton Mitchell Kolton Mitchell 5'11" | PG Lake City | 2023 State ID , Lake City: Mitchell was part of a great Lake City team that was led by a young core. Kolton improved his stock this season thanks to excellent guard play as he showed an ability to shoot the ball really well and he was also able to command the team with passing skills and leadership opportunities. Mitchell and Lake City will look to keep improving for next season and they should be in good hands for a few years to come.
