Prep Hoops had a busy on Saturday taking in action in Sumter. Spartanburg Christian Academy jumped out on the Dillon Christian Warriors and never looked back in the SCISA Class 2A Championship Game. SCA Warriors led from beginning to end in this game and cruised to a 68-44 victory. The Spartanburg Christian Academy squad won its 2nd straight State Championship under Head Coach Chris Arp. The Warriors finished the season at (20-7). 

Seniors Finish in Style: 

Bryson Bishop Bryson Bishop 6'0" | PG Spartanburg Christian | 2021 State SC , Sam Wheeler Sam Wheeler 6'5" | PF Spartanburg Christian | 2021 State SC and JP Duke JP Duke 6'4" | SG Spartanburg Christian | 2021 State SC all finished in style for the Warriors. Bishop who will attend Charleston Southern University next season took home SCISA Class 2A Player of the Year honors. Bishop finished his career with over 1,650 career points. Bishop was on fire all day long scoring 23 points in the win. Bishop converted behind the 3-point line and the foul line.

Wheeler played in his 3rd straight state championship game today. Back in 2019 Wheeler then a sophomore was at Shannon Forest Christian Academy and lost to Hilton Head Prep in the championship game.
