The 2A Regionals have been completed, and there were a lot of storylines from Saturday’s semifinal and championship matchups. Let’s dive in and take a look at some of the top highlights from Saturday’s night of hoops. 

Parke Heritage Pulls Off Upset

After cruising in the second half, Parke Heritage cruised in the second half of their opening game against Triton Central. This set up a big matchup with #2 Shenandoah. Parke Heritage had a 13 point lead in the third quarter, but Shenandoah was able to cut it to four with just under five minutes remaining. To this point, Parke Heritage’s leading scorer, Christian Johnson Christian Johnson 6'1" | SG Parke Heritage | 2023 State IN , had yet to score a point. However, in the final 5 and a half minutes of this game, Johnson scored 16 points to lead the Wolves to their first Regional title. Parke Heritage will take on Southridge in the Semi-State next Saturday.

Fort Wayne Blackhawk Rolls to Semi-State

Blackhawk Christian faced two tough opponents with Churubusco and Bowman Academy in their two games, but Blackhawk was able to put up two 68 point performances and come away with 13 and 16 point victories.
