6’4 Collin Chandler Collin Chandler 6'5" | CG Farmington | 2022 State #28 Nation UT , Utah Prospects
The Class of 2022 Combo Guard still has a lot to prove as many schools are courting him including Stanford, Xavier and BYU to name a few. Collin has improved in his ball handling, shoot and going to his off hand. While Collin can break players off the dribble in high school, he will need to prove that he can get by those high-level defenders on the circuit. Collin can get to a midrange as he has a quick first step that makes defenders retreat. While most defenders pick players up with their heals on the three-point line, Collin has been able to consistently hit those long ball threes from the wings. Look for Collin to improve his shooting from the baseline as he will be forced baseline. The defensive end of the floor still has more growth but Collin has been defensive rebounding well. On the ball defense is good with instruction and as his muscle mass grows, he will be an even tougher defender moving forward.
6’9 PF/C Jack Wistircill, Mountain Stars
Jack had a great junior year and he played against some top-notch competition. Jack was able to put up some great numbers against teams that had some bigs. Against Brighton he averaged 22 PPG, against Pleasant Grove he scored 26. This kid is skilled and although he might not be the quickest big, he knows how to position himself. When we are talking rebounds, he might not out-jump everyone he definitely positions himself and goes old school and boxes out. Could be a major proving point for him and for colleges to see how well he works with the skills he has. Another point of his game that could be an impressing point for recruiters is his ability to find cutters and open players when he has the ball in his hands. This is in regards to him with his back to the basket or in a perimeter catch.
6’3 SG Kolton Smith Kolton Smith 6'4" | SG Skyline | 2022 State UT , Mountain Stars
Kolton is a player that can really stretch the floor. His ability to catch and shoot as well as dribble into three’s is impressive. He can really take advantage of a solid Spring coming off of a solid high school season shooting the ball. Skyline didn’t win many games but Munatin Stars is a program that can compete with anyone. With more open looks that he will get off of possible help situations Kolton will be able to get some shots up. Look fo rhim to make a jump as he is a player to watch that has size and shooting ability.
6’3 W Logan Prince Logan Prince 6'3" | CG West Jordan | 2022 State UT , Salt Lake Metro
Logan has had a solid last two seasons with West Jordan. He does a little bit of everything and that is why he is listed as a wing. He can bring the ball and he can also play as a SG, but he is most effective at the 3 because he can be a threat getting to the basket but also step out and shoot the ball. Logan is a high IQ player that rebounds and defends. What is a game changer for him is his ability to see the floor from various spots on the floor. Logan finds open cutters and he passes people open as well. Look for Logan to gain a lot of experience that will help him get better moving forward.
