Here are players to watch this coming AAu season.
Will Davis, B2L, Class sophomore, position C
Will is a super built and strong center. He can body his way in the paint with his strong built. With is a smart player and fundamental in the post. He also is a good passer in the post. Will is strong with the ball, and a good defender. Will is hard working and has a good attitude.
Quinten Pienaar, Mass Elite, Junior, Postion F
Quinten is a very athletic stretch big. Quinten can get up and throw it down for dunks, But more importantly he is very skilled and has great fundamental’s. This kid has so much potential and should be able to play at high levels. He is a great passer in the post, Has great finishing abilities, solid footwork, and moves without the ball really well. I expect a big AAu season from Quinten.
Keagan Kelly, Boston Panthers, position G, 8th grade, Position PG
Keagan is a true point guard who is very past first. Keagan can score but is more of a passer. Something I would think that would help him would be, if he was more selfish. I have seen his scoring abilities, and think he should be less passive at times. Keagan really makes players around him better and is someone you want to play with.
Matt Welch, ASA, Grade 8th, position F
Matt has been working hard and improving his finishing skills, and ball handling. Matt is a forward who is improving with his touch around the rim and playing making abilities. I expect Matt to raise his stock this AAu season as he gets ready for his freshman season.
Tanah Pettway, Mass Rivals, Class Senior, Position PG
Tanah is a high level point guard and is committed to play at Stoney Brook. Tanah can score of the dribble, pull up, or off screens. He is a very athletic point guard who can get in the paint with ease. His floater and dribble moves are so smooth. He can get in the pain and get any defender off balance with his jump stop. I think he will fit well at Stony Brook.
