It’s been a difficult season, one that included the cancelation of the high school season, tons of players coming and going, and an overall lack of playing opportunities. Despite that and thanks to yeomen efforts from coaches, I’ve been fortunate to see a ton of players and learn some new names. In this article, a follow-up to our fresh faces article we take a look at some of the fresh faces on the list.
Eugene Dillion Eugene Dillion 5'8" | PG Liberty | 2022 State NV 5’8 PG Liberty #64 – Dillion is a tough pitbull defender. You can catch him this summer playing with the LV Knicks on the Gauntlet.
Chris Charles Chris Charles 6'2" | SF Spring Valley | 2022 State NV 6’2 SF Spring Valley #68 – I love Charles’s energy and activity. He has long arms and a good motor, allowing him to impact games with his rebounding and second-chance opportunities.
Chris White Chris White 5'10" | PG Valley | 2022 NV 5’10 PG Valley #69 – White is a transfer from California. The PG plays with terrific pace, and has shown the ability to score the ball in transition, and off the bounce.
Jacob Fogo Jacob Fogo 5'9" | PG Faith Lutheran | 2022 State NV 5’9 PG Faith Lutheran #70 – No one will accuse Fogo of looking the part, however, the FL PG has a good IQ and is accurate when left open from behind the arc.
Mason Muir Mason Muir 6'2" | SG Liberty | 2022 State NV 6’0 CG Coronado #77 – Muir is a transfer from Washington. He’s an underrated athlete that defends and can spend time playing both backcourt spots.
Lawrence Murray Lawrence Murray 6'5" | PF Green Valley | 2022 NV 6’5 PF Green Valley #79 – The lefty is a load down low. From 15 feet in Murray is tough, finding ways to finish around the rim. He will also step out and shoot it.
Benson Leavitt Benson Leavitt 6'2" | SF Virgin Valley | 2022 State NV 6’2 SF Virgin Valley #80 – Levitt makes the list as a contributor to small school VV. He’s good in transition and has the size and strength to defend H.S wings.
