Maddox Huff Maddox Huff 6'3" | PG Harlan County | 2025 State KY , Harlan County – Maddox is primarily a catch and shoot player right now but the rest of his game is still developing. A 33% shooter from 3, Huff has the consistent mechanics and form that show he will eventually be more like a 40% shooter from deep. Once he improves as a driver, he should be a 15+ point per game scorer.
Samuel Shoptaw, Hazard – Staying in the mountain area, Shoptaw is a contributing piece to a solid Hazard team this season who is a good scorer and efficient shooter but needs to continue developing his game to become a more well rounded player.
Sawyer Thompson Sawyer Thompson 6'2" | SG Wolfe County | 2023 State KY , Pineville – Thompson was having a good season through 10 games but hasn’t played since February 1st. Coach Levy is going to lose his 2 leading scorers to graduation but has high hopes that Sawyer can be a 15+ point per game scorer next year.
Julius Edmonds Julius Edmonds 6'6" | SF Trinity | 2025 State #253 Nation KY , Western – The first name in the 2025 class I’ve heard of from Louisville, Julius is currently starting for a very young Western team and averaging 6 points per game against a tough schedule. Edmonds is long and athletic and will have a chance to be one of the best in the city in the 2025 class.
Kendall Phillips, Wayne County – Phillips has had a big Freshman season for a rebuilding Wayne team and scored over 30 points in a game earlier this season. Coach Woods is known for playing 4 and 5 out and shooting a lot of 3s and Kendall fits that mold as he’s shooting 44% from deep and 52% overall.
