Joey Dwyer, Middlesex Magic, HT, 6-0, Position G, Class Sophomore
Standout game Saturday March 27th, 19 points, 7 assists, 3 steals.
Joey is a lefty guard, who is very quick, and a good shooter. In this game Joey showed his quick handles, his abilities to play in transition, and his good court vision. Joey is a tough guard because you have to play up on him with his shooting abilities, but he is quick and able to get by defenders. I also like the toughness he showed on defense and his aggressive on ball pressure. Joey can score but I liked how he took good shots and didn’t force any shots. Joey has a smooth shot, and does a good job of shooting and finishing over bigger defenders.
Brady Spencer Middlesex Magic, HT 6-3, Class sophomore, Position SG.
Standout game March 27th 17 points, 5 blocks, 3 rebounds.
Brady Has a very smooth shot, and a very nice high followthrough. In this game Brady showed his shooting and how is a great spot up shooter. Joey has had game with 5 and 6 threes before. Joey showed how he not just a shooter though with his defense in the paint and closing out. For a guard Joey plays bigger on defense. Joey played good help side defense and did a good job of not leaving his feet on defense. The shooting backcourt of Joey Dwyer and Brady spencer will be a tough matchup for opposing teams.
Adam Hernandez, Mass Elite, Class Junior, Position F/G
Standout Game March 28th 12 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals,
Adam is a forward who impacts the game in many ways. In this game Adam impacted the game on both ends of the floor. Adam can score, but isn’t a selfish players, as he looked to find the best shot. Adam played hard and is a solid player all around.
Nicolas Colomaria NLA standout game March 27th 16 point, 5 rebounds
Nicolas had a very strong game. He really controlled the game with his scoring abilities in the paint, shooting and mid range. He just played hard the whole game long ,and thats what I like to see. a high energy player, who feeds the energy off to his team. Nicholas was a big part of the NLA win.
Timmy Bollin Bay state Jaguars, class Freshman, Position combo guard.
Timmy had a great game for the Jaguars. Timmy’s sister is Shay Bollin, a standout player who is going to play for duke next season. You can tell they have had some competitive games against each other in their driveway. Timmy Impacted the game in many ways. He looked very skilled, with clean handles, and smooth scoring and passing. Timmy showed his good basketball IQ. Tim played great on defense, communicating, and had a good defense stance. I expect Timmy to get a lot of attention this coming season and really keep razing his stock. Timmy help lead his team to the win, made the players around him better.
