Demarshay Johnson Demarshay Johnson 6'9" | C Salesian | 2021 State CA-N 6’9 Center Payton’s Place. 2021
Johnson has made good improvement on the offensive side of the ball. His improved footwork produced several key buckets in the paint for his team. He was aggressive attacking the basket with intentions of dunking. With his long body, he was active on the defensive end with good rebounding, and going after blocks. He has long strides, and he gets up and down the court well for a big.
Mison Coilton 6’3 Guard Payton’s Place. 2021
Coilton looks to a be a more settled player on the court. The unsigned big body Senior guard played well at this event. He did a solid job, with his decision making, handling the ball, and finding open teammates on the cut. Coilton is hard to deal with when he’s anywhere near the basket. He was effective when he was able to get into the paint on the drive.
Nikko Rodriquez 6’4 Wing/ Guard Payton’s Place. 2021
A good sized player who did a good job handling the ball on the perimeter, and getting into the paint for floaters, and strong finishes for points. At 6’4 he’s a solid rebounding player, who has the strength to battle inside. He has a good second jump, that resulted in multiple points on the put back.
Jordan Aquino Jordan Aquino 5'9" | CG Lincoln SF | 2022 State CA-N 5’9 Combo Guard Payton’s Place. 2022
The energetic scoring guard found some balance to his game. He showed good patience being a facilitator. He picked the right times to show he can get a bucket when he wants one. He has that hard drive to the basket, and the tools to finish multiple ways.
Erick Booker 6’0 Point Guard Payton’s Place. 2023
A quality point guard with good speed, and shifty handles to get by defenders. He has good strength to withstand the contact on the drive. He’s a fast moving player that comes from different angles. On defense he has good quickness and lateral movement to harass the ball handler. He’s on Wright’s watch list.
Dylan Hayman Dylan Hayman 6'5" | SG Healdsburg | 2021 State CA-N 6’5 Wing, NBBA Black. 2021
Hayman was a solid contributor for his team at this event. He shot well from 3pt land, had some nice finishing moves to the basket on the dribble drive, including a few spin moves. His passing skills are good, he often found cutters going toward the basket. Hayman knocked down big shots late in the game when it mattered most.
Dom Girish Dom Girish 6'2" | CG Sonoma Valley | 2022 State CA 6’3 Guard, NBBA Black. 2022
Girish showed good handles, while being pressured in the back court. The lefty has a nice dribble drive pull up jumper in the key. He found his way to the basket several times on the drive. He moves well without the ball, he scored several times cutting to the basket. He has a good shot from 3.
Joaquim Aruz-Moore 6’1 Point Guard NBBA Black 2022
Aruz-Moore plays well in a fast paced game. He has good speed pushing the ball in transition, he’s in constant attack with the ball, getting into lane making defenders react right before he dumps it off to a big for an assist. He made good passes, took good shots in the mid-range area. He can settle the team, and run the offense when called upon. He’s on the Wright’s player to watch list.
Will Heimbrodt 6’7 Forward NBBA Black. 2022
Hembroidt has good size and length, with good fundamentals, and not a lot of mistakes. He cuts well going to the basket without the ball. He does a good job of finishing his shots in and around the paint for points. I saw a couple of floaters, and jumpers in the key. He showed that he’ll shoot the 3 in the corner if not guarded. He rebounds, and scored on put backs. An improving prospect
Charlie Treene 6’7 Center NBBA Black 2022.
Treene is a good sized player who looks like he’s going to grow a bit more. His long arms takes away passing lanes, deflects some passes, and changes shots in and around the basket area. He has a good shot from the elbow, and showed he’ll put up a 3pt shot in the corner if left unattended. He an improving prospect.
Ben Jenkins 6’0 Point Guard NBBA 16U 2023.
A good ball handler who pushes the ball up the court fast. He’s a heads up player with good vision, and passing skills. He’ll use the dribble, or a long pass to advance the ball up the court. He’s a tough player and can handle the contact on the drive to the basket. He knocked down key 3’s in the corner.
