Continue ReadingJM Elite is one of the new programs in the state that really took advantage of last years situation. They were able to field a team for the first time and a lot of the best players in the state decided to team up and show out at some of the events Utah was able to host and many high profile teams came to play. Moving forward JM Elite plays an up and down style of play. A lot of freedom and you can tell the players enjoy that freedom. JM Elite will run with a few unsigned seniors.
6’3 Trace Ross Trace Ross 6'3" | PG Corner Canyon | 2021 State UT , Corner Canyon High School (2021)
Trace has a standing offer from College of Southern Idaho which could be a great starting point for Trace who is a high level guard that coud really showcase his skills at a high level NJCAA school. Trace will have some more opportunities to show what he could do at the next level. Trace brings a high motor on both ends f the floor. Trace takes on the challenge on the defensive end to guard good players and on the offensive end he works really. Trace runs off of screens and moves so fluid without the ball. Super crafty and skilled with the ball. His size allows him to shot over smaller guards and he has a quick release.
6’2 Treyton Tebbs Treyton Tebbs 6'0" | CG Cedar | 2021 State UT , Cedar City High School (2021)
Treyton is what you could call a floor general that can score the ball. Treyton has a strong body that goes with his style of play. Treyton attacks the rim with a fearless mentality. Treyton also has a great shot that can extend beyong the three-point line. Treyton is a leader that can really help those around him. Can play on the ball or off the ball. Rebounds well and he has a way of getting others involved with either great passing or off the ball movement.
6’8 Parker Larson, Payson High School (2021)
Sleeper Alert! Parker Larson will get his 1st experience playing some AAU ball this summer as an unsigned senior. He has a high ceiling because he still has a lot to learn. Parker put up 12 & 7 last year which are solid numbers. He rebounds the ball with urgency and he goes after them on both ends of the floor. Will be a force for JM Elite. Could earn himself a spot at the next level in due time.
6’6 Dane Christensen Dane Christensen 6'7" | SF Orem | 2022 State UT , Orem High School (2022)
Dane is a wing that can play the 3 and the 4. As he has size and can shoot from the outside. Great option trailing down the middle off of rebounds or even drag screens that can turn into pick n’ pop situations. This kid rebounds and he knows how to find cutters and open teammates as teams over rotate. great next level prospect.
