Zavier Lloyd Zavier Lloyd 6'2" | SG Cibola | 2023 NM 6’2″ G – Zavier was a defensive menace for any team he played against. He is a strong defensive player who can play both sides of the court well. He was just as aggressive on offense as he was on defense and was able to make some good offensive plays when his team needed it.
Marcus Wilson Marcus Wilson 6'1" | PG Bella Vista Prep | 2024 State AZ 6’1″ G – Marcus added some serious firepower to the ABC group. He is a very lean athletic guard who is extremely bouncy. His athleticism makes him a mismatch for many teams that tried guarding him. He works very well off the pick and roll and is a strong finisher around the rim. He also is a major above the rim player and can pull down some nice boards.
Tony Pacheco Tony Pacheco 6'0" | SF Atrisco Heritage | 2023 State NM 5’11″ G – (Featured) Tony Pacheco Tony Pacheco 6'0" | SF Atrisco Heritage | 2023 State NM was the glue guy of the weekend. A very fast athletic guard who is very active on both sides of the court. He is a strong finisher who communicates very well. He sounds like a coach when he is on the court yelling out plays and guiding his teammates where he wants them to go. He has fast hands and is a solid defender. Tony lays it all out on the line every time he plays.
Josia Ortiz 6’4″ F – Josia is another strong 2023 athlete. He plays hard and is a strong communicator with his team. He isn’t afraid to shoot the ball and is active on both sides of the court. This was the first time I watched Josia play and I can tell you that he plays very hard on both ends. A solid contributor with offense and defense and he has a good inside and out game.
Alexander Vigil 6’0″ F – Alexander was a solid player for the New Mexico Thunder team. He played nice defense and was able to cause some turnovers around the paint. He has strong court awareness which helps him with his mid range game. He has a soft touch and isn’t afraid to shoot the ball.
Donovan Black Donovan Black 6'6" | PF Del Valle | 2023 State TX 6’6 F – Donovan was an absolute beast this weekend. I have watched Donovan play in multiple tournaments, but I had never seen him play the way he played this weekend. He was a bucket…He was rebounding boards like a madman averaging 10 – 12 boards a game. He was a major mismatch for most of the teams he played against because of his power and length. He ran both sides of the floor extremely well and had the highest upside out of any player I saw. I watched Donovan dunk with authority on numerous people this weekend. If he continues to play at this level it will only be a matter of time that he receives a major D1 offer.
