TJ Nunnery TJ Nunnery 5'10" | PG Hays | 2021 State KS , 6’2 Guard, Hays: One of the most explosive and athletic players still unsigned in Kansas, Nunnery can absolutely fly through the air, highlighted by his big time aerial dunks in transition. When he gets out in transition he is an extremely dangerous player and hard to keep from scoring or getting to the foul line. He has a quick burst with the ball and can get up in a hurry. The Hays guard averaged 7.5 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists per game this season for a high level program. As his half court game improves, so should his overall out put on the court, because in transition he is a tough matchup.
Tanner Hecht Tanner Hecht 6'5" | CG Wamego | 2021 State KS , 6’5 Guard/Wing, Wamego (Pictured): There are some offers on the table for the Wamego star, but he is still available in the class of 2021. He put up big stat line after big stat line this season, helping lead Wamego to a pretty successful year. He is a high level shooter with NBA line range on the court and he has worked at developing a growing mid range and finishing arsenal. He has good instincts on the court and his combination of length and vision make him a really solid passer and he puts his teammates in good positions to score. He averaged 18.3 points, 2.5 assists, 8.7 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game this year.
Jayton Alexander, 5’10 Guard, McPherson: Alexander is a hard nosed competitor who’s game rose up in big spots all season long for McPherson. His 3 point shooting improved throughout the season, and the intangibles he can bring to the court are an added bonus as well. He is a solid defender on the perimeter, makes smart plays with the ball, and can get hot from 3. He fit into his role nicely this high school season and will be interesting to see what opportunities may be out there for him at the next level.
Chase Wiebe, 6’2 Guard, Berean Academy: Wiebe is a long, athletic, and dynamic scoring guard out of the small school of Berean. He had a good showing this last weekend at the Central Kansas All Star game where he showed off his handling ability, change of speed with the ball, and comfortability hitting contested shots off the dribble. He may be a little known prospect, but the kid can really play and his skill with the ball, especially scoring it with his size in the back court, should catch some eyes. He has a good ability to hang in the air in the paint and make tough finishes and has a really solid floater game as well. An all around gifted scorer.
Jaxson Brackeen Jaxson Brackeen 6'1" | SG Newton | 2021 State KS , 6’2 Guard, Newton: A guard with great size, athletic ability, and versatility on both ends of the floor. He has really grown his offensive game each year in high school. He his a really good shooter especially when in rhythm and off the catch, with deep range, and he is good at getting into the paint and finishing on either side of the rim. Coming off screens and making plays with his size from the guard spot is really intriguing as well and he is really effective at it. His versatility extends to the defensive end as well where he can guard the 1 through 4 positions pretty effectively, and rebounds well.
Josh Williams, 5’10 Point Guard, Washburn Rural: A member of a tremendous backcourt at Washburn Rural, Williams has been a steady and consistent Centennial league guard for a couple of seasons now. He has a good basketball IQ, plays tremendously hard, is a good floor general, and sits and guards other small shifty players. He is a capable open 3 point shooter, he can get into gaps off the dribble, and is a good passer in tight windows to teammates to get them good shots. A really solid point guard who could provide a ton of stability and leadership somewhere.
