The Hustle SZN in Irvine California this past weekend featured several 2023 prospects that played a level up (17U). In this group the players were starters, and had significant impact on how their respective teams played. If they came off the bench they were steady contributors able to handle the level up competition.

6’2 Guard, Arizona Dream 2022. Desert Mountain HS Arizona.
Ginsberg is a heady prospect who takes good care of the basketball. He had solid crisp passes up the court, he’s a ball mover, swinging the ball well in the half court. He had some nice cross over moves in the open court to freeze defenders. Like most of his teammates he took good shots from the outside. He’s a good handler capable of directing an offense in the half court. He’s a good guard to have out front in trapping situation, he’s rarely out of position on defense.
Cavin Holden 6’1 Guard, Game Winner Basketball 2022. Ra Long HS, Washington.
Holden was a steady performer in his 4 games. He didn’t make too many mistakes. He’s a calm collected player who had plenty of effect on the out come of the games his

Holden was a steady performer in his 4 games. He didn’t make too many mistakes. He’s a calm collected player who had plenty of effect on the out come of the games his team won. He fits the combo guard mode, because he ran the offense on occasion, but was most effective on the wings, and in transition. He had good passes on the penetration kick out, and he’s a knock down 3pt shooter with deep 3 capabilities. Bulking up a bit will help his overall game.

6’5 Guard/Forward, So Cal Disciples 2022. Colony HS. California.
Hines is a intriguing prospect. He’s a muscular prospect with a good amount of strength, and size. His all around skills set needs some polishing, nonetheless he’s a versatile player who played multiple positions, and had impact in the games we watched. He spent time on the block where he was most effective. He spent time running the point position, bringing the ball up the court, and he got some 3’s to go down from the wings. Hines has the size 6’5, and strength to raise his game with more effort, and energy.
Kobe Parlin 6’1 Combo guard, Game Winner Basketball 2022. Mark Morris HS, Washington.
Parlin was a solid contributor off the bench. He more than held his own. The lefty is a good ball handler who pushes hard in transition, with a nice pull up jumper, and effective passing into the post. He has good vision, and moves the ball well in half court sets. He has a quality stop, and pop mid-range jumper that goes down for him. He showed himself to be a good on ball defender.
