We continue our coverage of a fun night of sub state hoops in Kansas looking at the guard play from Wednesday night. From the young bucks to the seasoned vets, we got some great guard play around the state in big time wins to help advance their teams to the next round of sub state.

Gabe Phillips Gabe Phillips 6'2" | SG Valley Center | 2021 State KS , 6’2 Guard, 2021: The Kansas Wesleyan commit was not ready to see his season end, and put up a monster double double with 18 points and 11 rebounds from the 2 guard spot in Valley Center’s opening round of Sub State win. His scoring ability is come of the best in the 2021 guard group, so complimenting his scoring with 11 boards is big time in the post season. He has the tools to be a tremendous 2 way guard at the next level.
