Red Springs Unsigned Senior Corell Love: He doesn’t look like your typical Forward as he stands at about 6’4, but his motor, athleticism and natural strength allow him to make a nice impact. He pulled down 14 Rebounds per game this season at Red Springs and did a nice job battling with taller opponents at camp.
Cape Fear Christian Academy Unsigned Senior Paul Tako Paul Tako 6'7" | C Cape Fear Christian Academy | 2021 State NC : Can play in the post, midrange or even step out to three point land and make shots. He’s already picked up an offer from Livingstone College and will be one that D2 programs will like to keep an eye on.
Wilmington Christian Academy Unsigned Senior Greg Bowden: Got off to a quick start, going for 13 Points in his first game of the day. He understands how to use his body to get where he wants on the court and impacted games with his scoring and rebounding.
Wayne Country Day Unsigned Senior Vante Hutcherson Vante Hutcherson 6'8" | PF Wayne Country Day | 2021 State NC : A player that will need to go the JC route, he had moments where he showed the potential of what he could be. He’s a legit 6’8-6’9 with a solid frame and looks to bring down the rim when he attacks the basket.
Freedom Christian Unsigned Senior Luka Timoshenko: Does all the small things that you love to get from a big. He sets solid screens, passes well into and out of the post, showed some ability to finish below the rim.
Lumberton HS Forward Matt Locklear: Don’t let his height fool you, he’s only about 6’3 but plays much bigger than his height suggest and mixes it up with bigs. Rebounding at a high level and knocking down the trey ball were some of the things we saw from him.
Cape Fear Christian Sila Tako: His brother was the player that you heard more about this season but he showed that he’s a special player in his own right. He looked very comfortable in the post with his back to the basket, defended well without fouling and brought a good amount of consistent energy to the court.
