Devin Moise, Norcross Heat Elite 2024 (McEachern)
Moise was an absolute load to handle for the 15U division standing around 6-6, he is an exceptional mover and can simply out-move other forwards at this level, physical frame makes him a force in close to the basket and showed an ability as well to comfortably knock down a 15-footer, definitely an Indians product to watch both this summer and next winter.
Joel Ibreosi, Tribe ATL 2024 (Peachtree Ridge)
Went from pure energy guy to big-time, aggressive scorer between when I saw them workout and Saturday’s action, was a force catching and slicing into the paint around and through contact, has excellent lift at around 6-1 to get above taller defenders, can play a little guard but more suited at the slashing 3 right now but with a growth spurt could become an intriguing 4-prospect.
Adonai Mussie, Double Trouble Elite 2024 (Parkview)
Checking in around 6-8, a shot-blocking force as he gobbled up a bunch in showing good timing, can catch and finish around the cup and when he adds strength will better be able to handle harsh double-teams and extra contact every time he touches it.
R’Chaun King, TSF 2024 (Memphis University School, Memphis)
Big, strong and mature for a 9th-grader, simply overpowered anyone he saw from a good-sized and skilled Atlanta Xpress team, had an ability to catch and dominate near the basket or wins battles on the offensive glass, overall among the best glass eaters of the day for sure and another monster prospect from MUS.
Micah Hoover, Atlanta XPress Black 2023 (King’s Ridge)
Much like King from Memphis, Hoover was a man amongst boys in frontcourt battles for this tremendous 2023 group, so big and strong at 6-5 or so he adds exceptional athletic ability to outjump as well as overpower opponents, another elite rebounder who gets up and down the floor in a hurry and will rim-run and throw one down on you if you don’t watch your head.
Dillon Fulwood, Atlanta Xpress Black 2023 (Johns Creek, pictured above)
Great length at around 6-6, tremendous timing off the ground, gets up and down the floor with gazelle-like efficiency, an exciting finisher with good hands and sweet feet.
Kent Perkins, Tier 2 2024 (Westminster)
May not make the All-Bus team when you first see him but sleep on him at your own peril, super soft hands and better feet than it looks until he spins by you, nice mid-range jumper in his game and a fighter on the glass, a great fit at Westminster and one who should shine in that division.
Yannis Woods Yannis Woods 6'7" | PF Jonesboro | 2022 State GA , Georgia Fire 2022 (Jonesboro)
Super bouncy and active all over the floor at 6-7 with a wingspan that goes much further, absolute eraser at the rim and snatches rebounds with suction cups for hands, love the activity and energy either looking for position to catch or exploding to the rim, an absolute must-see big man prospect this summer and into his senior year.
Jordan Fordyce, Georgia Fire 2022 (Eagle’s Landing)
Part of a deep cast of talent that drove ELHS all the way to the 5A title, like teammate Woods uber-athletic with a vertical through the roof at 6-4, didn’t get to see his perimeter game out near the arc but his pure explosion off the break or attacking from the wing was mighty impressive and enough to convince me I needed to see a lot more.
Austin Redd, Upward Stars (Cornerstone Prep, 2021)
No question among the hardest workers I saw all day yet he got it done with a clever combination of hustle and sneaky skill, he attacks the glass at around 6-3 like a much bigger player, every time I looked up from my pad he was making another smart hustle play to help his team and was nearly automatic inside 10 feet playing out of position as a 4-man for his club, could be a monster steal for a small college program looking for a versatile forward who will do anything asked of him.
