Minnehaha Academy guard Hercy Miller Hercy Miller 6'3" | PG Minnehaha Academy | 2021 State MN was the top unsigned guard in the state of Minnesota’s senior class. Today Miller committed to Tennessee State.

Miller is one of five Redhawks players averaging in double figures this year including the 10.7 a game from Hercy’s freshman brother Mercy Miller and the 10.6 a game from Hercy.  Miller was offered by Tennessee State just under two weeks ago and today made the choice to join the Tiger program.

"Ever since I was young I was taught to be a leader, to not follow the crowd," Hercy said to ESPN.  "I want to make a change, I want to make a difference. With me I think I can change the narrative.  People think you need to go to a big school to get to the pros but that’s not true."

Tennessee State is a Historically Black College/University and Hercy is excited to go to the school.

"HBCUs don’t get the spotlight a lot of others do.  A lot of people don’t know that Samuel Jackson, Oprah Winfrey, Common, Robert Covington came out of there, Stephen A. Smith.  They don’t have the spotlight.  Anything is possible, it doesn’t matter where you are at."
