With one year left of high school eligibility, the class of 2022 showed out this season and made a lot of great strides as a group. The class of 2022 also produced some underrated players that were able to make their stock rise due to a high level of play against tough competition. This season showed that a lot of great talent can be found outside of the senior class and a lot of great basketball will be played next season as well with these players during their senior seasons. Trentyn Kreager Trentyn Kreager 6'2" | SG Priest River | 2022 State ID , Priest River: Kreager helped propel Priest River to a postseason appearance this season during a strong run. Kreager has great size for a guard at 6’2″ and he plays with a lot of passion and skill. He has a solid jump shot and can also score at will whenever he gets in the paint. He is a strong finisher at the rim and can also dish the ball to open shooters in order to get his teammates involved. Trentyn will be a great talent for Priest River next season as well.
Clay Silva Clay Silva 5'10" | SG Lighthouse Christian | 2022 State ID , Lighthouse Christian: Silva proved himself to be a knockdown shooter this season with many games that featured him knocking down more than a handful of three-pointers. Silva has a smooth release and he can shoot from a standstill, on the move, or off of the dribble. He is a dynamic shooter who can score in a variety of ways. Defensively, Clay loves to get in passing lanes for easy steals which he can turn into fast breaks or scoring opportunities for himself.
Hudson Hughes Hudson Hughes 5'11" | PG Ambrose | 2022 State ID , Ambrose: Hughes made a literal and figurative splash at Ambrose this season thanks to his ability to spread the floor with his shooting skills. Hudson emerged as a go-to scoring option for Ambrose and also showed that he could lead the team on any given night against any and all opponents. Hudson has a great feel for the game and his senior campaign will be lots of fun to watch.
