A lot of high level basketball was played across the state this year and a couple of players really stood out that I had overlooked at the beginning of the season. As with any list, there could be a ton more players added to this article, but I have rounded up my personal top 3 stock risers. Cash Cowdery Cash Cowdery 6'3" | SG Middleton | 2021 State ID , Middleton: The Middleton Vikings had a great season and a lot of their success was impacted by Cash Cowdery Cash Cowdery 6'3" | SG Middleton | 2021 State ID . Cowdery was an underrated player for the Vikings coming into the season but he cemented his legacy at Middleton with clutch performances and the ability to lead his team in close games. Cash has a great shot from anywhere on the floor and he is a physical guard who is not afraid to use his body to make his way to the basket for easy buckets.
Ben Blythe Ben Blythe 6'0" | PG Ambrose | 2021 State ID , Ambrose: Blythe played a major role for Ambrose this season and showed that he could score with some of the best in the league while also leading his team to a lot of great victories. Ben has a smooth shot and he plays like a natural scorer. His footwork in the paint is great and he also does an excellent job of kicking to shooters and putting his teammates in scoring positions. Blythe is a great defender as well and is always willing to work hard for his teammates.
Luke Hill Luke Hill 5'11" | SG North Fremont | 2021 State ID , North Fremont: Luke helped lead a scary North Fremont team as a key leader and offensive contributor during his senior season. Luke has a great shot and he is a true point guard as an excellent passer and floor general. Hill showed his ability to lead a team in all situations this season and he has also shown his ability to score at a high level against tough competition.
