Class 2 Final Four All-Tournament Team
Prep Hoops Missouri presents its 2021 Class 2 Final Four All-Tournament Team. Campbell defeated Salisbury to wins its first state championship in school history. Norwood defeated North Andrew for third place.
Most Valuable Player
Blake Fowler Blake Fowler 5'11" | PG Campbell | 2021 State MO (Campbell): The 5’11” 2021 guard shined all weekend as he led the Camels to their first ever state championship. If he wasn’t knocking down long jump shots, he was diming up his teammates with his great passes, not to mention the great leadership. For the weekend, he averaged 22 points a game. In the championship game, he had 25 points, five assists and made five 3-pointers in the Camels’ victory over Salisbury. He hit back-breaking 3-point shots at the end of halftime and the third quarters. He will leave the program as the school’s all-time leading scorer as well as a state champion.
All Tournament Team
Garrett Davault (Norwood): Garrett DaBuckets showed why he was one of the top offensive players in SWMO by averaging 24 points a game in leading the Pirates to a third-place finish. The 6’2″ 2022 guard had a big scoring day in the semifinals when he had 30 points and eigh assists while singlehandedly keeping his team in the game against Campbell. In the third-place game, he had 18 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and seven steals in a victory over North Andrew. When his team fell behind 12-1 to open the game, he took things over as he dominated in all facets of the game.
Jackson King (Salisbury): The 6’1″ 2021 guard was the driving force behind Salisbury’s run to the state championship game and its runner-up finish. He averaged 19.5 points and five rebounds in the Final Four while playing at his normal all-out, “Full-Tilt Boogie” style. He was on fire in the state semifinals when he scored 25 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a victory over North Andrew. He was 11 of 14 from the field and also had the stroke going from 3-point range.
Carlos Camargo (Campbell): The 2021 forward was one of the unsung players in the Camels run to the state championship over the weekend. He averaged 11.5 points and nine rebounds in the two Final Four games. He was one of the big reasons while the Camels enjoyed a comfortable rebounding edge during the weekend as he was constantly hustling for offensive boards and extra possessions.
Tanner McDaniel (North Andrew): The 6’3″ 2021 guard closed out his career with a very productive weekend as he led the Cardinals to a fourth-place finish. He averaged 20 points a game in the Final Four as he showcased his ability to score at all three levels. His high game came in the third-place game where he scored 22 points against Norwood.
Luke Abeln Luke Abeln 6'4" | SG Marceline | 2021 State MO (Salisbury): The Slender Sniper of Salisbury had a very productive weekend in helping the Wildcats to a state-runner-up finish. He averaged 13 points and eight rebounds over the weekend, including a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds in the victory over North Andrew in the state semifinals.
Charlie Parker (Campbell): The 6’3″ 2021 forward was excellent in the championship game victory over Salisbury with his high energy play and production at both ends of the floor. He finished the game with 18 points and eight rebounds as he repeatedly attacked the basket and scored on tough drives.
