Thanks to covid 19, the country has found new ways to do things. We have had to reinvent normal everyday things. Zoom parties drive by birthdays. In New Rochelle, New York they came up with a way to play basketball games. Stepinac high school and Iona prep came up with this idea. 

Stepinac leads the best of 7 series 2-0. It’s hard enough to beat a very good team, a rival, but to do it on the road is more impressive. Iona Prep will now try to pay them back and win on the road themselves.

Johnuel Fland stepped up in game 1. Without Duke recruit Andrian Griffin, Stepinac was going to need other guys to step up. Fland (2024) was very impressive in his first varsity “game”. He showed the ability to shoot the three. A strong player going to the basket. He can score in bunches and in a variety of ways. Boogie the name his friends call him had his head up and was able to find teammates for easy baskets.
