Here were some of the varsity standouts of the game:

Catalina Foothills
Will Menaugh Will Menaugh 6'10" | C Catalina Foothills | 2021 State AZ Catalina Foothills (5 pts 2 rebs 1 stl 1 blk)
-The massive post player was a huge mismatch problem for the Coyotes. He was in foul trouble and only played 11 mins, but when he was in, he was a load to handle. He can score with back to the basket and use either hand. He keeps the ball high and rebounds well in his area and will block a shot. He is walking on at Arizona.
Cody Blumenthal Cody Blumenthal 5'10" | PG Catalina Foothills | 2021 State AZ Catalina Foothills (9 pts 4 rebs 3 asts 1 stl)
-An old school pure PG scored the ball efficiently. He hit the mid-range jumper and uses ball fakes to get passed his defender and drive the lane. He is very smart, tough and has become more skilled in the last year.
Trace Comeau PF 6’5 2021 Catalina Foothills (17 pts 6 rebs 4 asts 1 blk)
-The breakout player in the game played about as well as you could. He has a strong base and is very tough. He can shoot the 3 plus battle inside with opposing bigs. With Menaugh in foul trouble, Comeau came up big in key moments.
Carson Peabody PG 5’9 2021 Catalina Foothills (8 pts 9 rebs 4 asts 1 stl)
-Another pure PG plays a cerebral brand of ball. He takes care of the rock and makes the correct read. He drives the lane with a nice burst and can lay it in or get to the FT line. He threw his body in the fire to rebound the ball.
Ben Pinckney C 6’6 2021 Catalina Foothills (11 pts 7 rebs 3 asts 2 blks)
-A thick post player has good skill and length. He rebounds well in his area with his long arms. He can post up with a nice touch around the basket and give them big points off the bench.
Dylan Hadley SF 6’3 2022 Catalina Foothills (9 pts 2 rebs 2 asts 1 stl)
-A sturdy framed wing forward gets downhill well and scores it through contact. He can make the catch-3 and plays a physical game from inside and out.
Centennial
Jake Lifgren Jake Lifgren 6'2" | CG Centennial | 2022 State AZ Centennial (18 pts 1 rbs 3 stls)
-One of my most improved juniors in the AIA. He has been heavily leaned on this season and missed some opportunities in the contest but still competed. He hits pull-ups with high elevation from mid-range about as good as any guard in the state. He has the floater and the catch-3. He was very competitive on the ball defensively.
Emery Young Emery Young 6'4" | SG Centennial | 2023 State AZ Centennial (10 pts 5 rebs)
-The only other Coyote in double figures. He shot the ball better than normal from deep. He shot two each from the 3pt line and from mid. He battles and plays hard on each possession, which you have to respect. He rebounds in traffic and makes you earn each point.
Gage Galbreath Gage Galbreath 6'3" | PF Centennial | 2024 State AZ Centennial (4 pts 3 rebs 1 ast 2 stls)
-A strong freshman came in off the bench and gave them a lift. The Coyotes struggled to score but he scored a quick 4 points to close the gap. He has a nice hook shot and will battle despite being undersized. He also has quick hands for a forward.
