2023
Jazzdon Streeter, PF, Alexander (pictured above)
The big guy was mobbed by double teams all night when the two groups scrimmaged, but when he had space he was a lot to handle at near 6-5 already. He displayed quick feet and soft hands and showed nice skill in the post and can be a monster on the glass and at the defensive end altering shots.
Mekhi Kennedy, PG, Alexander
The Alexander reload will see quite a few from this roster stepping into bigger roles. Kennedy is a quick, strong, downhill PG who can do damage when out in space and really excels at powering to the hole. He was a menace on D as well with good hands and a hunger for on-ball defending.
Marvin McGee, SF, Alexander
When teamed with Streeter makes for an imposing frontline. McGee is a little more active laterally and gets up and down the floor for finishes off the break and for short J’s on the pull-up. He hit the glass with a nice ferocity and isn’t afraid to get in there and bang at around 6-4.
2024
Josiah Coleman, SG, North Atlanta
An athletic wing player with a nose for scoring, he both got into the thick of the D off the dribble and showed a willingness to pull it from deep as well. With a high ball IQ and At 6-2 he has good length, finding his way to the ball often at both ends, will likely step right into the NA lineup with graduation taking away so many star players.
Nico Michael, SG, North Atlanta
So close in skill and also appearance and size that I thought these two Warrior teammates (he and Coleman) were brothers for a moment. Similar size, similar skillset, a smooth mover and another high IQ hustler that perhaps likes it closer to the basket at the moment but will be a factor as a slashing wing and rebounding guard.
Jermaine Hines, SG, New Manchester
The night’s shooting star showed off a beautifully smooth and efficient stroke from serious range and tons of confidence and moxie to back it up. Love the ease at which he plays, but the effort is there, it’s just a level of inherent talent that makes it look easy. Will be fun to see him alongside Chase James-Robinson Chase James-Robinson 5'9" | PG Buford | 2024 State GA in the Jaguars backcourt.
