The 6A Championship was not only unexpected turn of events but it was a great showcase for some players. Westlake had the height advantage but Davis quickly turned the tables on them as they made Westlake change their style of play. Westlake loves to run but Davis steeps you up in the half-court. When you spread a team out and have shooters it is just a tough matchup. Davis was in-control from the start and they controlled the tempo. 

Impressive Players

6’4 Chance Trujillo, Davis High School

Chance is a multi-sport athlete and he is a dang good basketball player. He is strong and physical. He bumps and digs and closes out. Chance was huge from deep and on the boards. Davis took advantage of the over help on the strong side and screened the backside of the helper and Chance was money from the spot up three. Chance can handle the basketball really well and he will finish on a bump. He is an ideal 3 that can play high level.
