Nojus Indrusaitis (Lemont – 2024)
We are high on this 2024 freshman class and after seeing Lemont’s star first year player put on an epic performance, he established himself as one of the top players in it. We saw him in the fall at a Breakaway Basketball showcase and was extremely intrigued, but he has gotten so much better even in the last four months. Plus size at 6’5” on the perimeter with good length to where he should continue to grow. Early on it was his ability to win off the bounce that stood out. Put combination moves together along with being able to blow right past his man with either hand on straight line takes. Crafty finisher around the hoop with euro steps and off hand finishes. Had a knack for finding space and being in the right spot to get passes in the paint for easy buckets. Best move of the night was a left-handed take that he flipped over to his right hand for a scoop shot and-1. Crisp and clean release on his jump shot which he knocked one in from super deep and had a silky-smooth baseline jumper. Big time scorer went for 33 points. Worthy of being on the D1 radar already!
Kyle Kostes (Lemont – 2021)
Kostes is a skilled 6’2” thick combo guard. Played effectively both on and off the ball. Crafty scorer that gets in the lane for nifty finishes and can knock down threes as he hit a pair. Liked his overall feel passing as well finding open teammates going for 21 points. Nice small college prospect.
Xavier Lewis Xavier Lewis 6'7" | PF Tf South | 2022 State IL (TF South – 2022)
Lewis is a top 10 prospect in the 2022 class. Wiry and extremely bouncy four man. Didn’t play most of the first quarter because they allowed the seniors to start in their final home game. When he got Lewis left an impact immediately starting off by snatching a defensive rebound, going coast to coast, and converting an and-1. That just shows you the kind of athleticism and skill potential he possesses. Aggressively goes after rebounds high pointing them in traffic. Had a nice hook shot where he made the shot and was also fouled. Finished with 8 points and 10 rebounds. Mid-majors and low-majors should be tracking him heavily this spring and summer.
Jamal Richards (TF South – 2021)
Richards opened up our eyes with a strong performance. He was absolutely feeling it from beyond the arc. Made five three pointers showing a quick release along with a crisp mid-range game. He was on fire for senior night netting 23 points. Small college scoring combo guard!
Christian Heffner (TF South – 2021)
Heffner also played well in his final home game. Got to the rim several times for tough scores. Active defender and hit a three. Went for 11 points.
