Trey Kaufman Trey Kaufman 6'8" | PF Silver Creek | 2021 State #39 Nation IN (Silver Creek; 2021)
The Purdue-signee has had a stellar senior season after coming back from a foot injury early in the season. He is averaging 25.8 points per game to go along with 2.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists. He can play on the block and the perimeter, making himself a matchup problem for most teams Silver Creek plays against. I expect another terrific performance on Saturday and look for him to have another good shot at winning another state title.
JR Douglas Konieczny Douglas Konieczny 6'8" | SF South Bend St. Joseph | 2021 State #156 Nation IN (St. Joseph; 2021)
Konieczny led St. Joseph over No. 1 Hammond in the Regional Final with 24 points and 14 rebounds. The 6-foot-7 guard is a terrific shooter and has stepped up his play even more over the past few weeks in the playoffs. On the season, he is averaging 28.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. He is a lethal scorer and will look to put up another terrific outing this weekend.
Kooper Jacobi Kooper Jacobi 6'6" | PF Silver Creek | 2021 State IN (Silver Creek; 2021)
The frontcourt teammate of Kaufman for Silver Creek, Jacobi can’t be forgotten because he is one of the top players in the class of 2021, in the state of Indiana. Another stretch-4, he can play on the perimeter and inside the paint much like Kaufman. Jacobi averages 22.6 points and 11.2 rebounds per game and is signed to play for Toledo next year.
D.J. Allen D.J. Allen 6'7" | PF Leo | 2022 State IN (Leo; 2022)
Allen is a load to handle in the paint for opposing teams and has played critical roles in both their Sectional and Regional wins. He had 18 points and 13 rebounds for their Sectional title and then had the game-saving block against Northwood in a one-point win in the Regional Title game.
Branden Northern Branden Northern 5'11" | PG Silver Creek | 2022 State IN (Silver Creek; 2022)
Another Silver Creek player on the list with Northern. The 6-foot point guard is part of that star-studded trio with Kaufman and Jacobi. He brings great pace to the game and allows the team to use its athletes in the open floor. On the season, he is averaging 15.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game and is the perfect floor general for Silver Creek. He had 16 points in Silver Creek’s Regional Title win.
Joseph Bobilya Joseph Bobilya 5'11" | PG Guerin Catholic | 2021 State IN (Guerin Catholic; 2021)
Bobilya had probably the best performance of any 3A player in this playoff with a 40-point effort to win regionals. He nailed 10 3’s and was on fire almost all night. He can score all over the floor and can catch fire at any time. The 6-foot point guard is averaging 17.7 points per game this year.
Blake Davison Blake Davison 6'0" | PG Leo | 2021 State IN (Leo; 2021)
Davison is the perfect pair with Allen for Leo as he runs the backcourt. He is a terrific shooter, nearly 40 percent from 3, and can create in the paint as well. He is nearly a lock for 20 a game every night, if not more, and usually lets the game come to him instead of forcing the issue. He’ll have a fun matchup going up against Konieczny and St. Joseph.
