The transition from middle school to high school is a tough transition for most individuals. These players below have done this with ease and have been excelling as freshmen. Keep an eye on these guys as they have a bright future ahead of them at the varsity level and potentially in the collegiate game.

Here is a look at the top 10 freshmen prospects:

1. Jeremiah Sem Jeremiah Sem 6'1" | SG Fargo North | 2024 State ND (2024) |6-1 G| Fargo North – As a freshman, he already looks and moves like a division-1 athlete. Besides being an unbelievable athlete Jeremiah is skilled. He has solid handles, a precision passer, and he shoots it well. He has all the tools and potential to be a D-1 basketball player.

 2. Jacob Brandt Jacob Brandt 6'6" | PF Hillsboro/Central Valley | 2024 State ND (2024) |6-6 F| Hillsboro/Central Valley – He is a strong forward who moves extremely well. He is a rim protector and a nice rebounder. His range extends out to the 3-point line. Jacob can score with his back to the basket, or he can put it on the floor and slash into the lane.
