Coen Carr Coen Carr 6'4" | SF Dutchtown | 2023 State #77 Nation GA is a freak athlete. The long lanky forward jumps out of the gym and tries to dunk everything possible. He plays above the rim better than anyone else I’ve seen this season. Carr is more of a slasher and rebounder right now but if he puts together a consistent jump shot and strengthens his ball handling on the perimeter, he could end up having one of the highest ceilings in the state.

Up from No. 40
A skillful scorer that creates space with his handle, Baker has had a strong season with the Atomsmashers. His ability to get hot as a multidimensional scorer makes him tough to game plan for. He plays with a good motor. Baker is crafty when getting to the basket and can pull-up from the mid-range to knock down shots. His energy is infectious on defense.

Being named to the Region 5-7A All-Region First Team is a huge honor. Rechsteiner impressed over the summer with his moxie and tough-nose style of play. He has a great handle and a smooth three-point shot. Brandon is creative with the ball and can manipulate defenses with his passing. Expect Rechsteiner to climb higher on this list as his career progresses.

Tayden Owens Tayden Owens 5'9" | PG Cherokee | 2023 State GA was a key piece in Cherokee’s Sweet 16 season. Owens knows how to balance his scoring with his facilitating. He has shown a tendency to score in bunches, able to drop in floaters in the lane and connect from long distance. His ball handling and added offensive punch helped Cherokee become an efficient team.

Up from No. 114
The super bouncy guard off the bench had a nice year after transferring from Monticello. He earned Third Team All-Region 4-7A honors as he provided consistent energy. Whitlock plays bigger than his size and can collect offensive rebounds when crashing the boards. Defensively he can cover ground and get deflections and blocked shots. Whitlock has been improving his jump shot and still has room to grow.
