Jakob Kreissig Jakob Kreissig 6'5" | SF Steamboat Springs | 2022 State CO – Steamboat Springs
Kreissig is a player that it was our first time seeing in their playoff run, and that is quite the player out there. He is a balanced player with a great motor and great at size 6’5. He is a player that the team rallied around, and he delivered. He had a solid run for the playoffs and put up big games both inside and out. Kreissig scored 19 points in their win against Wheat Ridge, including 10-10 FTs. Against Golden, he really came alive as he had an impressive stat line of 21 points and 15 rebounds before slowing down against a very talented team in Montrose. Kreissig is a player that I feel can play at the next level.
Adonis Reynolds Adonis Reynolds 6'4" | SF Pueblo Central | 2021 State CO – Pueblo Central
Reynolds was the guard threat for Pueblo Central this year, and he led the way as he scored in bunches and took that into their playoff run. He was on a mission and played with heart until the final whistle. Reynolds came out on fire for the playoffs as he had 15 points in the game and affected the game in different ways. Against a scrappy Mountain View team with size, he had 18 points and 12 rebounds before slowing down against Longmont to conclude the season. He plays ahead, knows what he wants to do, and plays his game, and that was something to see.
Kobe Greene Kobe Greene 6'2" | SG Windsor | 2021 State CO – Windsor
Greene is a 6’0 guard, but he had to play multiple positions and found his niche out on the wing with how the team is constructed. He played well off of the ball and found holes in the defense. He created gravity with his outside touch, and if they did not get out on him, he made teams pay with his outside shot. Greene lit up the scoreboard in the playoffs and was the team’s best scoring option. Greene averaged 20 points a game through three contests and had a high of 30 points. He was a sniper from deep that got going, and when he was on, the team was winning. Greene is a great positional rebounder, and when he is on the floor, things go well.
Tristan Smith Tristan Smith 6'4" | CG Elizabeth | 2021 State CO – Elizabeth
Smith is a bucket. He scores the ball in every single way and has excellent size at 6’4. He is athletic, plays above the rim, and also can step out and hit the 3-ball. Earlier this year, he scored 45 points in the game and put up some massive lines. In the lone game, he showed why he was one of the best scorers in the entire state, and he got into a zone heading into the final stretch. Elizabeth did not win the game, but in a game where his team only put up 49 points, he finished with 27 points. He hit 3 3-pointers, had 4 FTs, and had 12 rebounds in the game as well. Smith will score baskets at the next level and had himself a coming-out party
Kyle Miller Kyle Miller 6'5" | SF Pueblo East | 2021 State CO – Pueblo East
In an opening game loss to Erie, the 6’5 wing played well and did all he could to keep his team in the game. He had 14 points and went out fighting, but it was not his day from an efficiency standpoint. His shot was not falling, so he made It a point to get involved in different ways. He rebounded well as he finished with seven boards, got to the FT line, and also had his way inside. He was the only other Eagle to hit a shot from beyond the arc and found a bit of success against a stifling defense. Miller used his length and size all season long and had a solid season; unfortunate that it did not come together when the team needed it most but great career nonetheless.
Jaden Kennis Jaden Kennis 6'3" | SG Windsor | 2021 State CO – Windsor
Kennis is a player that we expected to make a jump this season as he had a promising offseason and looked to be working on his game continuously. This season he made one of the biggest jumps in points. He got better in every single statistical category, leading the No.1 seeded Wizards to a high playoff push and brought that elevated play into the playoffs. Kennis scored 12 points in a blowout over Durango, came to life with 22 points in a blowout over Aurora Central, and had 15 points in their loss to Pueblo South. Kennis was aggressive and used his size and athleticism to get to his spots, knocked down two 3-pointers a game in the playoffs, and was a force on the boards and defensive end of the floor in their push. Windsor came up short, but Kennis showed that he is a player that can help a school at the next level.
