Brendan Mykalcio Brendan Mykalcio 6'5" | SF Patrick School National | 2021 State NJ , 6’6 SF Patrick School National
Mykalcio joined the Celtics midway through the season and immediately made his impact felt. The 6’6 wing can handle the ball on the perimeter and has the ability to finish above the rim. Mykalcio is more than just a slasher as he has a good shooting form and can score in the mid-range. He has the ability to defend multiple positions and is an underrated passer. Mykalcio recently picked up a D1 offer from Gardner-Webb and it should be the first of more to come for the athletic wing.
Ed Ngene Ed Ngene 6'8" | C Lindenwold | 2021 State NJ , 6’8 C Lindenwold
Ngene has been a rock inside for the Lions as few teams have been able to stop him inside. The Bloomfield commit is a force on the glass as he had a 20-20 game against Paulsboro. Ngene uses his athleticism to swat shots around the rim as he has six games with at least five blocks. He has a nice touch around the basket and draws contact with consistency. Ngene has been one of the better big men in Group 1 this season and should be rewarded with All-Group recognition.
Nick Thomas Nick Thomas 6'7" | PF Montclair Immaculate | 2021 State NJ , 6’7 PF Montclair Immaculate
The Lions are a guard heavy team, but Thomas is responsible for manning the paint. The 6’7 forward has a physical frame which he uses to draw contact around the basket. Thomas has a good touch close to the basket and is an underrated passer. He is a force on the glass and knows how to get position down low defensively. Thomas is a strong forward prospect who fits in perfectly with Montclair Immaculate’s guards.
Jayson Williams Jayson Williams 6'0" | PG Peddie | 2021 State NJ , 6’0 PG Peddie
Lafayette commit Isaiah Thompson Isaiah Thompson 6'0" | PG Peddie | 2021 State NJ is the go to guy in the Falcons’ backcourt, but do not sleep on Williams. The 6’0 guard has a quick first step and knows how to score around the basket. Williams is more than just a driver as he has a nice release on his jumper and is capable of getting hot from distance. He is an underrated passer and knows how to slide his feet on the defensive end. Williams is a skilled guard prospect who pairs nicely with Thompson in the Peddie backcourt.
Jared Clawson Jared Clawson 6'0" | PG Olympus Prep | 2021 State NJ , 6’0 PG Olympus Prep
Clawson is one of the more electric guards in the class as he is a blur in the open floor. The 6’0 guard has a tight handle and is a crafty finisher around the basket. Clawson is more than just a slasher as he is capable of running the offense from the perimeter and can knock down jumpers from behind the arc. He is a pesky on-ball defender and is unafraid to mix it up when going for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Clawson is a dynamic lead guard who should be on the radars of colleges with his combination of toughness, skill and speed.
