Jordan Hawkins Jordan Hawkins 6'5" | SF DeMatha | 2021 State #41 Nation MD | 6’5 | Connecticut
Hawkins made a big leap on the national scene the past year as he is growing into the type of player he always had the potential to be. Dan Hurley is bringing in an elite shooter who has good size and length standing at 6’5.
Jakai Robinson Jakai Robinson 6'4" | SF Rock Creek Christian | 2021 State #53 Nation MD | 6’4 | Miami
Robinson is still an underrated prospect at the national level and I believe that will become noticed during his time at Miami. Jim Larranaga once again swooped into the DMV and got a talented high major prospect.
Quincy Allen Quincy Allen 6'7" | SF Maret | 2021 State #125 Nation MD | 6’7 | Colorado
Allen is a major addition for Tad Boyle and Colorado. Kudos to Boyle and his staff for coming to the east coast and securing one of the more versatile forwards there is in the area.
Jared Billups Jared Billups 6'5" | SF McDonogh | 2021 State MD | 6’5 | Siena
I don’t think we have seen Billups play his best basketball yet but that will change when he enrolls at Siena. Carmen Maciariello used his DMV ties to snag on the more under the radar kids that plays extremely hard night after night.
Barry Evans Barry Evans 6'7" | SF Poly | 2021 State MD | 6’7 | Undecided
As of right now Evans is the top available small forward from the local 2021 class. There has been talk about him possibly re-classing to the 2022 class but if a college program needs somebody that will make a long lasting impact on your program, Evans is your guy.
Day’sJuan Waters Day’sJuan Waters 6'3" | SF Good Counsel | 2021 State MD | 6’3 | Undecided
Waters have a very impressive junior season helping lead Good Counsel to one of their best seasons in years and carried that over to a solid AAU season with DC Premier . Whoever is lucky enough to get Water’s at the next level is getting a player that can score at a high clip.
Devon Savage Devon Savage 6'4" | SF Riverdale Baptist | 2021 State MD | 6’4 | James Madison
I think Savage could have even finished higher on this list with the potential and upside he has. Savage could be a star in Harrisonburg for the James Madison Duke’s and has All CAA potential written all over him.
Malcolm Dread Malcolm Dread 6'3" | SF Gonzaga | 2021 State MD | 6’3 | Richmond
Dread announced his commitment to Richmond early in the recruitment process and will be a nice addition to the Atlantic 10 bunch. Dread is capable of defending multiple positions which will be beneficial to Chris Mooney and his staff.
Mike Woods Mike Woods 6'4" | SF Frederick Douglass | 2021 State MD | 6’4 | Navy
Woods looks to be the next DMV product to make an impact for Navy as he is set to enroll in the fall. Woods has improved his game over the last year and should be able to contend for early playing time for Ed Dechellis.
Kris King Kris King 6'3" | SF Archbishop Carroll | 2021 State MD | 6’3 | Undecided
Kris and his brother, Kent King Kent King 6'3" | SF Archbishop Carroll | 2021 State MD , who is slotted right behind Kris in the small forward rankings, both had a very nice summer and would have greatly benefitted from a senior season during the WCAC. Both brothers remain some of the top prospects in the local 2021 class that remain undecided on their college futures.
