More standouts:
Tycen McDaniels Tycen McDaniels 6'7" | SF Spencer | 2023 State GA , PF, Tri-City Elite (2023, Spencer, pictured above))
So excited when South GA talent comes up our way to the ATL-Metro, long with incredible lift at around 6-8, exciting finisher around the basket with energy and moxie, will bang on the glass and will erase shots, as perimeter shooting range increases can rapidly become a prospect potentially on the high D1 level.
Dexter Holloman Dexter Holloman 6'3" | SF Chattahoochee County | 2023 State GA , SG, Tri-City Elite (2023, Chattahoochee County)
Another impressive athlete this one coming at you from the perimeter with a fury and fluidness that impressed quickly, can also get off the floor with amazing lift in a hurry at 6-3, attacks the rim as well as any wing I saw since November, plenty of shooting in the arsenal and another south GA talent to track for this top notch Tri-City program.
Cam Ellis, PG, Tri-City Elite (2023, Shaw)
Also a QB-prospect in football and slated for a transfer to St. Anne-Pacelli next fall, strong lower body makes him a tough guard as he motors through defenders and traffic in the lane, showed off a slick handle a few times leaving folks in the dust and can get to the rim at 6-1.
Angelo McKennon, SF, ED1SA (2023, South Gwinnett)
My first time seeing this impressive-looking 6-6 wing, may be a tad lean right now but had a whole slew of wow moments both driving it to the basket with his length or knocking down J’s in the mid-range, had a spirited battle going with Tycen McDaniels Tycen McDaniels 6'7" | SF Spencer | 2023 State GA of Tri-City but this is a big-time riser with all kinds of potential, an absolute must-watch this summer.
Demario Spear, PG, ED1SA (2023, Riverdale)
Strong frame and he uses it to get downhill or create space for a pull-up at 6-3, loads of confidence in his offensive game and he will knock one down on you if you slip up or get a shoulder into you going to the rack, enough natural quickness to guard 3 spots with that frame and is another intriguing player from this program.
Waymon Bowie, PG, Gwinnett Hawks (2024, Brookwood)
Was nearly unconscious from 3-land all game vs Flame Gold in the 15Us as the whole team shot somewhere near 70% from the field, confident with ball, solid handle, head up on a swivel and a good decision-maker.
Bryce Thornton, SG, Gwinnett Hawks (2024, Shiloh)
Excellent backcourt complement to Bowie on this team, another deadeye bomber from well past the arc, strong downhill finisher on the break, superb energy at both ends and sound defensive instincts.
AJ Pigford, PF, Gwinnett Hawks (2024, South Gwinnett)
Overpowering in close both with a stout frame around 6-3 and nifty moves getting up through contact, skilled post scorer and relentless rebounder, lot of confidence and showed some range out to 15 feet.
Nathan Daniel, PF, Gwinnett Hawks (2024, Brookwood)
Sleek, athletic mover at 6-4 really gets up and down the floor and off the deck in a hurry, efficient finisher right at the cup, his great length makes him an eraser near the basket at this level, a post presence to watch develop for sure.
Shermarion Clark, SG, Apalachee Elite (2022, Apalachee)
Sweet stroke from long range, also took on traffic at 6-0 with both a floater game and assertive finishes off the break, great speed with the ball.
DeOndre Moore, CG, Apalachee Elite (2022, Apalachee)
Another speedy guard around 5-10 who showed no fear in getting after it on the break or driving it from the wing, excellent defensive instincts and active hands among the best I saw all night.
