Our next classification for coverage is the 4A class of western Pennsylvania. This could be the most competitive class in the area. Watch for these players and many others to have outstanding seasons. Each night is a war between a variety of teams who have above average players. Take a glance at our preview of standouts…
Junior 5’9″ Guard
– An outstanding playmaker who is a proven leader on the court
– His dribble penetration and ball distribution is always “on point”
– Creates his own shot, while making others better around him during each contest
– Extremely quick athletes with superior conditioning
– Receiving a variety of college communication for both basketball and football
Junior 5’11″ Guard – A deadly shooter from the perimeter with confidence
– Consistent scorer who gets his teammates involved throughout the game
– True leader on the floor and has a high basketball IQ pertaining to his game
– Looks to lead the break, but can pull up with a jumper with accuracy
– Receiving a good amount of college interest
Junior 6’1″ Guard
– Leadership qualities on the floor make him a standout player during games
– Excellent free-throw shooter
– Has an extremely advanced basketball IQ
– Looks to facilitate the offense with a well-rounded skillset
– Receiving some college interest
Junior 6’5″ Forward
– A skilled big man who can get to the basket at will and finish strong
– He is a tenacious rebounder with the ability to finish around the rim
– Developed into a more all-around player on both ends of the floor
– Looks to follow the lead and help his team in a variety of ways during each game
– Receiving college discussion more often recently
Senior 5’11″ Guard
– Puts forth his best effort to help his team compete on a high level
– A guard that runs the offense with precision and makes everyone better around him
– Looks to develop his game to be more aggressive on the offensive end of the floor
– A “ball hawk” on the defensive end of the court who creates havoc for an offense
– Receiving college interest with some discussion
These boys will look to take their games to another level this season. Be prepared to see quality basketball each and
every night with the 4A classification. The tremendous amount of talent will be on display between these boys and
the games will be extremely exciting to watch on a Tuesday or Friday evening.
