It’s about that time when teams start to heat up and get it rolling hoping to peak at the right time to make a run at state. Last season it seemed as if though the top to teams in 6A stayed hot all season. This year could be different.

The Westlake Thunder

Westlake has one of the toughest schedule this season. Not just because they play in Region 4 but because they played some good teams in the pre-season. They started the year with a rough game against Lehi that they survived. They smacked Farmington and suffered their 1st and only loss to Corner Canyon back on December 5th. The Thunder has received major contributions from so many. Hunter PhillipsHunterPhillips6'9" | PGWestlake | 2021StateUT was the anchor but due to a torn ACL others have started to step up. Kaleb Fury has been electric, especially in the open floor where he can get up and finish. Keilan Torkornoo has also stepped up in Hunter’s absence.
