Zach Howell Zach Howell 6'4" | SG Springfield Catholic | 2022 State MO 6’3 Springfield Catholic: The 2022 guard has been a bucket throughout the season, but he went above and beyond the call of duty last week. He scored a school record 55 points and grabbed 16 rebounds with 10 3-pointers in a victory over Mt. Vernon. He followed that up with 41 points and 17 rebounds in a win over Aurora. He then added 36 points against a very good East Newton team. His skill set is excellent and he can score at all three levels.
Vic Naboya 6’8 Greenwood: The 2021 forward enjoyed two big performances in victories over Summit Christian and Crane. He had 15 points and seven rebounds against SCA and 23 points and 15 rebounds against Crane on Friday night. He plays with excellent activity around the the basket and I like how he rebounds out of his area.
Jaishon Jefferson Jaishon Jefferson 6'3" | SG Lincoln Prep | 2021 State MO 6’3 Lincoln Academy: The Blue Tigers have been on a late season surge and the 2021 wing as been at the forefront. He’s a big shooting guard who plays forward on this small and quick LCPA team, which makes him a matchup problem. He’s very explosive and a skilled ball handler and shooter. He has 20 points and 14 rebounds in a big victory at Kansas City Central.
Patrick Warren 5’11 SW Livingston: The 2021 guard was the MVP of the CLAA Tournament after leading the Wildcats to the championship. He’s a physically strong kid with excellent ball handling and perimeter shooting ability. After scoring 21 points in the first round, I watched him scored 26 points in a semifinal victory over host Tina-Avalon, which included five 3-pointers and several nice takes to the basket.
Camden Connor 6’3 Scott City: The 2021 combo guard put on an offensive show in the Rams back to back victories over Campbell and Park Hills Central. He scored 28 points against Campbell and 25 points against Park Hills Central. In addition to his scoring, I really like his court vision and passing. He can drop some impressive dimes with both hands. He plays with a lot of poise and confidence with the ball in his hands.
