Welcome to Wednesday Wrap-up, a weekly article that aims to recap the latest news and notes within our hoops community the in DC Metro Area. Here are a few noteworthy storylines that have manifested during the past several days. 

Shane LancasterShaneLancaster6'4" | CGSt. John's | 2022StateMD is reinforcing his credentials as a legitimate mid-major division one prospect with upside. The versatile 6-foot-4 combo guard told Prep Hoops that he is hearing from programs such as Columbia, Loyola (MD), UNC Greensboro, Mount St. Mary’s, and Navy. Lancaster recently made his debut at the St. James Winter with the DC Cadets and led his team to a comprehensive win over WDBA. He’s a good rebounding guard who embraces contact when finishing in traffic. Lancaster does the little things like take charges and reverse the ball. He is also a reliable perimeter shooter. 

WDBA had a couple of 2022 prospects worth noting. Reis JonesReisJones6'6" | CFlint Hill | 2022StateVA is a rare breed around these parts. Standing about 6-foot-7 with long limbs, he is a traditional big man whose best trait is his ability to protect the rim.
