Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top standouts from Wednesday nights district tournament action.

Zayne Gale 6’5 Galena: The 2021 forward scored a team-high 17 points in the Bears’ thrilling 58-57 victory over Billings in the Class 2, District 11 semifinals. He showcased his versatility with the ability to score inside combined with a nice touch from 15 feet off the catch. He was strong in the first half when he sparked the Bears to an early advantage with his scoring and rebounding.

Mason Rumsey 6’3 Lafayette County: The 2022 guard scored a game-high 33 points to lead the Huskers to a 77-48 victory over Lone Jack in the Class 3, District 14 semifinals.

Trey Gannan 6’1 Meadville: The 2021 forward scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Eagles to a 49-34 victory over Hale/Bosworth in the semifinals of the Class 1, District 12 tournament.

Kyler Tennis 6’3 Billings: The 2021 forward finished his career with a strong 26-point effort in a 58-57 loss to Galena in the Class 2, District 11 semifinals. He was a very resourceful offensive player as he got buckets on tough drives to the basket while also getting himself to
