Pine Forest Sophomore Guard Isaiah Washington Isaiah Washington 6'5" | SG Winston-Salem Christian | 2024 State NC had an outstanding freshman year and has stepped it up a notch his sophomore year. In a rematch with South View HS, Washington went for a game high of 29 Points which included a poster dunk to help seal the 72-63 win.
Richmond County Freshman Guard Paul McNeil caught our attention with his outstanding play during the 9 Dime Fall League which led to him being named Rookie Of The Year. He used that momentum to roll right into the season and last night against Hoke County he scored a career high of 31 Points in a win, continuing to prove himself as a D1 prospect.
Raleigh Christian Academy Sophomore Guard Nick Anthony Nick Anthony 6'3" | CG Raleigh Christian Academy | 2023 State NC is the real deal and D1 programs should have his name on their list. He impacts games in multiple ways but in their matchup with Mount Zion his scoring made the difference. Anthony went for 37 Points which included a game winning jumpshot from midrange with only seconds remaining.
Hoke County Freshman Guard Jaylen Sturdivant Jaylen Sturdivant 6'4" | CG Hoke | 2024 State NC is slowly but surely finding his rhythm on the varsity level and Tuesday night he got the chance to put together one of his best performances. Sturdivant scored a team high of 16 Points which helped to keep Hoke County in the game against a strong Richmond County team.
The Greenfield School Freshman Guard Drew Pittman put together a career night scoring 28 points in a win against Pungo Christian. He’s getting early experience on the varsity level and we know that he will only get better as time goes on.
