Indiana is loaded with talent at every position group, but especially on the perimeter. Here are some of the top backcourt and perimeter duos across the state.
Shamar Avance
ShamarAvance6'1" | PGLawrence North | 2021StateIN / Chris Gunn
ChrisGunn6'4" | SGLawrence North | 2022State#115NationIN (Lawrence North)
One of the best backcourt pairings is found at Lawrence North with Avance and Gunn.
Both are extremely athletic guards who excel in the open floor. LN runs a slower pace, so at times it can hinder both. Avance has worked extremely hard on his shooting - up to 33 percent - which opens up his game. His speed and quickness makes him a difficult guard for opponents in the half court. He is averaging around 19 points per game.
For Gunn, the recent Indiana commit can be a bit overshadowed at times, but he picks his spots and shows up at the right moments. He is a terrific two-way player whose versatility allows him to guard multiple positions. He has turned into a good shooter who likes to take the big shots down the stretch.
Gunn is averaging close to 14 points per game.
Luke Goode

Fletcher Loyer
FletcherLoyer6'5" | SGHomestead | 2022StateIN (Homestead)
Another terrific duo comes out of Homestead with Goode and Loyer.
Both committed to Big Ten programs (Goode - Illinois / Loyer - Purdue), this is the highest scoring perimeter pairing across the state. Goode is averaging 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists per game while Loyer is averaging 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game.
Goode has improved his shooting ability from his junior year and his hitting over 40 percent of his 3's. He is much better off of the ball using screens to open himself up. With his size and release, he can continue to become a real knockdown shooter.
The addition of Loyer has allowed Goode to play more off of the ball. In his first year in Indiana, Loyer is exceeding expectations. He is another tremendous shooter who can make both off of the bounce and off of the catch. He is still working on his slashing ability, but his lethal shooting ability opens up the rest of his game.

Vincent Brady
VincentBrady6'3" | SGCathedral | 2021StateIN (Cathedral)
Cathedral is headlined by two very strong guards with both Comer and Brady.
Comer is an underrated guard in the 2021 class that has many mid-major offers. He is a bit undersized but uses his quickness and toughness to get to the rim. He is averaging close to 16 points and 6 assists per game, but more importantly he is a tremendous floor general with a high IQ.
Brady pairs perfectly with Comer. He is a bigger guard at 6-foot-4 and is a lethal shooter from deep. His size is also a huge advantage when he drives on smaller defenders, as he has above average slashing ability as well. He averages 16 points and close to 7 rebounds per game.
Ryan Conwell
RyanConwell6'2" | PGIndianapolis Pike | 2022StateIN / J.J. Louden Jr. (Pike)
Pike’s backcourt is in good hands as both Conwell and Louden are just juniors.
Conwell is a big bodied point guard at 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds who has great pace on the offensive end. The lefty guard does a great job at reading the defense with or without the ball and creates good angles on a pass or when receiving one. With the ball in his hands, he uses his frame to get in the paint and utilize a nice floater, or finish through contact. He is averaging 18 points 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game.
Louden is someone who makes his own opportunities, mainly off of the defensive end - averaging 2.5 steals per game. He has good size and a good ability to play and guard multiple positions on the perimeter. He has good enough ball handling skills to play on the ball too. He is averaging 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
