Karim Belhouchet Newton North, VS Needham, 2/11 20 points 4 rebounds, 3 assist.
Any game, Karim is one of the best shooters in the gym. In the win vs rival Needham, Karim made a lot of nice plays in the game. Karim hit some tough shots with hands in his face, off the dribble and off screens. Karim has a smooth and soft shooting touch, and I like they way he has his elbow in and at a 90 degree angle in his form. . He is a point guard who can control the game. Karim is not just a shooter, and impacted this game in other ways. I liked that Karim did not force any shots. Karim is committed to Lassell College in newton, and will be playing basketball there.
Matt Fernandez, Needham, Vs Wellesley, 2/13. 7 threes
Matt Fernandez ended his career with a Bang. The senior could not miss hitting 7 three pointers. Matt had 4 in one quarter. Sometimes shooters get in this zone, where everything seems to fall. Needham really moved the ball well to help Matt get good looks. This was a great shooting display to end his career.

Declan Walmsley, Franklin, 2/13, vs Stoughton. 34 points, 11 rebounds, 74 percent shooting.
Declan’s father is a college coach at Wheaton college. The apple does not fall far from the tree here, as the power forward is a very skilled player for Franklin. Declan had one of the top games of the season vs Stoughton. He made so many big shots, and did it at such a impressive shooting percentage, and high volume. Declan showed his variety of skills, shooting from the outside, scoring on fast breaks, and down low. He also showed his defense, forcing turnovers with great anticipation on where the ball would be.
