In this post we look at sophomores who’s stocks are rising this season on varsity.
Noah Goldstien, Needham, HT 6-2, position F,
Noah is an athletic player and very solid all around. He really makes his money on defense. He can play defense in the post, and on ball. He can guard multiple different positions. Noah is very quick, and will be a force in Needham’s one three one defense. Noah will definitely make an impact in his time at Needham.
Adam Landry newton North, position F, Ht 6-4
Adam is a versatile strong and athletic player. Adam is 6-4 and can shoot the three, and get out in transition. Adam also plays very tough defense. Adam is just beginning to make his mark in the varsity scene, and will be a player watch during his time at North.
Yoav Rabbi Newton South, F
Yoav is a strong forward, who can post up, and can score off the dribble. He has a nice touch and is a good finisher. Yoav is a classic strong forward. Yoav is gonna keep raising his stock with the lions. Yoav does a good job of being aggressive, and going into contact.
Noah Beaudet Norwood, position SG,
Noah has been lighting up this year for Norwood, He is a 3 point specialist with games of 5 and 6 threes this year. Noah does a good job of coming off screen’s hard, and getting very balanced for his shot. He has a nice follow through. Norwood has 6 seniors, so expect Noah to be an even bigger part of the team next year.
Wyatt Stephen’s Weston, Ht, 6-0, position SG
Wyatt Stephen’s has really been rising his stock. He is fundamentally sound, and has good handles. He attacks the the basket well and has a great shot. He can shoot off the dribble or catch and shoot. Against Acton He really showed his athleticism with his strong finishes and ability to score in transition. He had 23 points.
