The always interesting topic of conversation is should prep school prospects be included in the rankings with your regular schools, private, and public. In NorCal we have 3 or 4 Nationally ranked prospects who have transferred into Prolific Prep in Napa. We have players who have reclassified up and down into classes. There’s quite a few who have transferred out of NorCal, but may return if we get hoops in NorCal. These prospects are sure to effect the rankings at the top in NorCal.
Nathan Bittle Nathan Bittle 6'11" | C Prolific Prep | 2021 State #20 Nation CA-N 6’11 Center C/O 2021 transferred from the State of Oregon to attend Prolific Prep in Napa. Bittle is a highly regarded prospect who has already committed to Oregon.
Mor Seck Mor Seck 7'1" | C Archbishop Riordan | 2021 State CA-N 7’0 Center C/O 2022 Archbishop Riordan has reclassified up to the class of 2021, and has recently committed to play basketball at the University of San Francisco. Sec was a top prospect in the 2022 class.
Kamari Lands 6’8 Small forward/Guard C/O 2022 is a transfer from Indianapolis who also attends Prolific Prep. I’ve only seen a few high light clips of Lands play. All indications are he’s a top notch recruit in any region. He has a top 10 National Ranking, and is playing in NorCal.
Milos Uzan Milos Uzan 6'4" | PG Dream City Christian | 2022 State #60 Nation AZ 6’4 Point Guard C/O 2022 is a transfer from Desert Pines High School in Nevada. Uzan was one of the top prospects in Nevada’s 2022 class, he’s now one of Prolific Preps top play makers.
Nigel Burris 6’7 Forward Archbishop Mitty was one of NorCal’s top unsigned Seniors in 2021 before he reclassified down into the C/O 2022 making him one of the top prospects in the 2022 class.
Yaru Harvey 6’5 Point Guard 2021 formerly of Sheldon, Eastern Washington commit is now in Southern California at SCA Prep School.
Jaylen Thompson 6’8 Forward from St. Joseph in Alameda. A top prospect in NorCal’s 2022 class transferred to the newly formed SCA Prep School in Southern California.
Oziah Sellers 6’3 2022 Shooting guard from Modesto Christian was a rising prospect in NorCal. He’s now attends SCA along with the previous mentioned prospects.
Lee Hubbard III 6’2 Point Guard Archbishop Riordan 2021 has opted to reclassify to the Class of 2022 increasing his chances to rise in the rankings coming out in February.
There will be updates to the rankings as we go forward. There are still some transfers who have chosen to leave the area. At this time there’s no confirmation.
