Seth Trimble Seth Trimble 6'3" | PG Menomonee Falls | 2022 State #50 Nation WI — PG — Menomonee Falls — 2022
I have said it before. When it is all said and done, I think that Trimble has a great chance at becoming the best player in Wisconsin’s 2022 class. The athletic point guard can shoot, defend, and he has also proven to be a very effective slasher. With Trimble leading the way, Menomonee Falls has a great chance at winning the Gold Ball.
Brian Parzych Brian Parzych 6'2" | PG Wauwautosa East | 2021 State WI — PG — Wauwatosa East — 2021
I think that Parzych is one of the most underappreciated players in the state. His numbers may not blow you away, but he is the leading scorer on a Tosa East squad that holds an impressive 16-3 record. He is a crafty, smart prospect that just knows how to win games. I expect big things from Parzych in these playoffs.
Hayden Doyle Hayden Doyle 6'0" | CG Brookfield East | 2021 State WI — SG — Brookfield East — 2021
I don’t think he will win the award, but with his play this season, Doyle certainly has to be in the conversation for Wisconsin’s Mr. Basketball. The Brookfield East shooting guard is scoring 25.9 points per contest on 56 percent shooting from the field. Doyle will look to lead his team to a win in their first matchup against Brookfield Central.
Cameron Palesse Cameron Palesse 6'3" | CG Waukesha West | 2021 State #249 Nation WI — PG — Waukesha West — 2021
Watching Palesse’s development over the past couple of years has been special. He was very good in his early years at Waukesha West, but now, the point guard has become a legit top tier prospect. As a scorer, he is almost unstoppable. His ability to get off a quick shot is unmatched. Teams facing Waukesha West in the playoffs will have their hands full.
Jack Campion Jack Campion 5'10" | PG Milton | 2022 State WI — PG — Milton — 2022
If you like phenomenal point guard play, then you will love Campion. The speedy PG is a very smart and calculated prospect that finds ways to make plays for himself and his teammates. In 15 games, Campion is scoring 22.6 points per game. I expect more greatness from Campion in the playoffs.
Ben Nau Ben Nau 6'1" | PG Brookfield Central | 2021 State WI — PG — Brookfield Central — 2021
I know for a fact that Nau doesn’t get the credit that he deserves. The point guard doesn’t produce huge numbers, but he does so much for his squad. Nau passes well, makes shots from behind the arc, and plays amazing defense. If Brookfield Central is to make a run, look for Nau to be a key player.
Mac Wrecke Mac Wrecke 6'5" | SG Arrowhead | 2023 State #272 Nation WI — SG — Arrowhead — 2023
This season, Wrecke has solidified his spot as one of the top players in the 2023 class. Through 21 games, the Arrowhead prospect is scoring 23.5 points per game. Expect this sophomore to make a statement in this year’s tournament.
Drew Biber Drew Biber 6'3" | SF Cedarburg | 2021 State WI — SF — Cedarburg — 2021
Biber will look to finish his high school basketball career on the right note. He has had a tremendous senior season so far, as he is scoring 19.8 points per contest. If Cedarburg is going to make a run, Biber will need to play his best basketball.
