However, I haven’t seen everyone as much as I would like. There are several players out there that I caught a glimpse of, but would like to evaluate a little bit more, before adding them to the rankings. In this article, a follow-up to our On The Radar article we take a look at some of the players on our Rankings Radar.
Roberto Carbajal Roberto Carbajal 6'0" | CG Basic | 2021 State NV 6’0 CG Basic 2021 – It’s fair to say that Carbajal could actually be in the new additions category. He most likely will be in the rankings, I just want to see him one more time to nail down his specific skill set a little more accurately. The combo guard contributed on a winning Basic squad his junior season and probably would have had a bigger role this year.
Isiah Adem 6’1 SF Spring Valley 2022 – Adem will be participating in the upcoming Cedar City showcase event, the timing is great as a productive showing in that event should be enough to solidify him a spot in the new rankings. A high motor player Adem is a glue guy candidate for the right team.
Pharaoh Compton Pharaoh Compton 6'7" | PF Arbor View | 2024 State #74 Nation NV 6’5 SF Spring Valley 2024 – I like Compton, physically he passes the eye test. The issue is what position and how productive can he be. I’ve watched the long rangy forward play a little during the summer, now I’m going to keep an eye out to closely evaluate his strengths and weaknesses. With size at a premium, he should be a no brainier to enter his class rankings.
Quenton Rice Quenton Rice 6'1" | SG Faith Lutheran | 2021 State NV 6’1 SG Faith Lutheran 2021 (featured image) – I would have really liked to see Rice in a regular season. he’s the kind of scrappy glue guy that could make a big difference on a winning team. I haven’t seen a lot of him, however, it’s just a matter of nailing down some specific skills of his before adding him to the rankings.
Amarion Brown Amarion Brown 5'10" | PG Desert Oasis | 2023 State NV 5’10 PG Sierra Vista 2023 – Brown has caught my eye in spurts, The PG has some tools and has been productive at times against Varsity competition. I just need to see him play a little more before I feel comfortable adding him to the rankings, and identifying where he fits in amongst his peers.
