Pangos event operator Dinos Trigonis held his annual Best of the West Showcase event over the weekend at Nets on Fire in St. George, Utah. While we were unable to physically be in attendance, the BallerTV live stream allowed us to get a closer look at the strong amount of California-based prospects who attended the event. Below are some of the players who stood out.

Jermaine Rogers IIJermaineRogers II6'1" | SGAyala | 2022State, 2022, Ayala - There’s never a question about whether Rogers is engaged or not as his motor is always running at 100 percent. The 6-foot-3 combo guard is relentless when attacking the basket off the bounce and uses that energy, and his strong frame, to draw contact resulting in trips to the free throw line. Rogers has steadily improved his jump shot off the bounce and off the catch.

Kelcy Phipps, 2023, Bishop Montgomery - It comes as no surprise that Bishop Montgomery has yet another talented young scorer coming up the ranks. Phipps fits the bill as "wired to score" as he does so in a variety of ways with a smoothness that borders on effortless.
